Call of Dragons Liliya Guide

Liliya

The Call of Dragons hero Liliya is widely regarded as one of the top area-of-effect damage heroes in the game. At maximum skill levels, her attacks can deal a minimum of 3600 damage to up to three targets. Furthermore, her scorch damage inflicts an additional 1000 damage over time, which can be spread to multiple enemies. It is highly recommended to pair Liliya with other heroes who also deal high hero skill damage, generate significant amounts of rage, or boost hero skill damage, as this will further enhance her effectiveness.

Liliya skill upgrade order

  • 1
Level the first skill called "Flames of Vengeance" to it's maximum
  • 2
Then promote Liliya to four stars, to give you better odds at points landing on the third and fourth skill - as we are trying to avoid upgrading the second skill.

Liliya Hero Pairings

  • Liliya
    Liliya
    Skill | Magic
    Velyn

    Skill DMG, Area-of-Effect

Liliya paired with Velyn is currently considered the most powerful mage pairing in the game. Together, they grant the legion a significant bonus to magic unit attack, increased hero skill damage, and, most notably, devastating area-effect damage. It is highly recommended to assign Liliya as the commander and utilize a Skill/Magic talent tree to enhance the primary aspect of this pairing, which is “hero skill damage”.

  • Liliya
    Alwyn
    Control | Skill | Magic
    Liliya

    Skill DMG, Area-of-Effect, Continuous DMG

Alwyn is a strong pairing option for Liliya. You have two approaches to consider: appoint Alwyn as the commander and invest in the Control talent tree’s rage talents to generate significant amounts of rage for continuous use of rage skills. Alternatively, you can select Liliya as the commander and opt for either a Skill or Magic talent tree variation. The Skill tree will provide higher skill damage, while the Mage talent tree offers a combination of normal attack, skill damage, and defensive options.

    Atheus

    Skill DMG, Single & Multi-Target

Atheus plays two key roles in a Liliya-centric legion. Firstly, he excels at preserving the longevity of Liliya’s legion through powerful defensive options. Secondly, Atheus contributes significantly to rage generation, ensuring that Liliya’s rage bar remains filled, allowing for frequent use of rage skills. His defensive toolkit includes damage reduction, health boosts, and healing abilities, all of which support the skill damage strategy of targeting the weakest legions on the battlefield. Additionally, Atheus possesses the skill “Eye of Insight,” a highly effective rage generation skill that grants a 30% chance to gain 60 rage upon landing a normal attack.

Liliya Talent Builds

  • Liliya+Velyn or Waldyr | PvP, PvE

The primary objective is to generate rage rapidly in order to inflict maximum skill damage. It involves allocating talent points to nodes that enhance skill damage and rage generation while advancing towards the larger talent nodes.

    Skill DMG, Rage

Look for the weakest legion in an enemy cluster and target them to generate rage and unleash devastating skill damage to the target and enemy legions surrounding it.

  • Peacemaker talent build

The Peacemaker talent build is specifically designed as an initial build for players starting new seasons. Its focus is to enhance damage against Darklings, thus facilitating faster experience gain. This build is particularly recommended for players who have easy access to the “Book of Alteration” item.

While leveling up, this build provides increased damage against Darklings, access to tactics manuals for experience gain, and additional resource chests through the War Trophy talent. Once you reach the maximum level, you are free to switch to a more damage-oriented talent build according to your preference.

    Darkling Damage, Unit Attack, Rage
  • Liliya+

This particular build is highly effective in confrontations that take place in narrow passages where both you and your opponents are tightly packed together. As a result, the majority of damage inflicted upon you will be in the form of skill damage.

The primary objective of this talent build is to generate substantial amounts of rage, enabling you to frequently unleash powerful rage skills against your adversaries. The additional health points, increased skill damage, and reduced damage from enemy hero skills all contribute to better fight in narrow choke points.

Artifacts for Liliya

Legion Attack, Mage Unit Attack

Infernal Flame is Liliya’s signature artifact and the most effective. If you lack Infernal Flame, then it is crucial to prioritize those that enhance her mage unit attack, legion attack, and have the ability to unleash area-of-effect damage. Among the options available, Magic Bomb and Phoenix Eye stand out as the top choices. In the absence of these artifacts, you can consider using the Enchiridion of Advanced Incantations as a decent alternative, (though it is worth noting that this alternative lacks area-of-effect damage and does not work in PvP).

Tips

  • Liliya’s Scorch does not effect Behemoths.
  • The artifact Infernal Flame cannot grant Magic Keen while battling Behemoths because its passive ability cannot be activated by scorching enemies. Behemoths are not affected by status effects, therefore rendering the artifact ineffective in this regard.
