To make informed decisions when allocating resources towards hero upgrades, it is essential to understand their strengths and weaknesses, and where they excel compared to other heroes. This is particularly crucial for Free-to-Play players or Low-Spenders who cannot afford to waste valuable resources on suboptimal heroes. When evaluating a hero, several factors need consideration, including the availability and cost of their tokens, their performance in different roles (such as open-world PvP, rally attacks, dragon tales, and garrison defense against rallies). In War fights there are usually a lot of enemy legions grouped up, as such we prioritize heroes that do a lot of AoE damage. Then we look for heroes that apply debilitating debuffs such as reduced health points, attack, defense, march speed, and increased damage received. We also must consider the heroes Talent options and how the 3 talent branches synergize with both the heroes play style and scenarios they will most likely encounter. Lastly, heroes that give increased march speed and that have all 4 skills dedicated to PvP gain a slight edge in Tier rankings.
