Call of Dragons Necrogiant Guide
Necrogiant is one of the more challenging Behemoth raid bosses in Call of Dragons. It requires a good understanding of various mechanics and demands constant movement within the arena to position yourself correctly. Tanks play a crucial role in keeping the bosses separated from each other and the rest of the raid needs to constantly dodge mechanics to minimize damage inflicted by the Necrogiant.

Positioning and raid Composition
For a successful encounter with the Necro Giant, it is crucial to have a well-structured raid composition. It is recommended to have 2-3 infantry legions and 2-3 mage legions. The infantry legions will focus on tanking the Necro Giant, while the mage legions will handle the Giant. To maximize damage output, it is important to keep the Necro Giant and the Giant separated. If they are in close proximity, they will form a tether and their damage intake will be significantly reduced. Since the Necro Giant is immune to magic damage, it is advised to have a majority of marksmen units in your raid to maximize the damage dealt. Additionally, legions should maintain a safe distance from the Giants to avoid their area-of-effect attacks.
Phases
Throughout the battle, the Giants will periodically become immune to damage. They will start channeling teleportation and unleash a random skill. At the end of the channel, they will swap positions with each other and become vulnerable to damage again.
Tip: In the Elite version of this raid, attacking the Necro Giant during the channeling phase will result in counter attack damage. To minimize this, it is recommended to keep your legions in constant motion. Standing still will cause your legion to auto target a Giant and subject you to significant counter attack damage.
Phase Skills
During the encounter, players must be agile to dodge a series of projectiles and revolving lasers. Each instance of damage inflicted will be a percentage of your legion’s maximum unit count.
Tip: As the Giants swap places at the end of the channeling phase, it is advisable to position yourself near the other Giant while avoiding their skills. This way, when the swap occurs, you will be in close proximity to the Giant you intend to attack.
Darkfire and Healing Manastones
After dealing a certain amount of damage to the Giants, they will initiate a teleportation channel once again. However, this time, instead of casting random skills, the arena will turn dark purple and circular seals will appear beneath two legions. Legions within these circular seals will be immune to Darkfire damage. Players should gather within the seals and move together towards the nearest manastones to take the opportunity to heal. After healing, players should position themselves accordingly on the arena’s appropriate side, aligning with their respective Giant.
Tips
Elite Version
- Increased health points, attack, and defense by 125%
- Legions receive 50% less healing.
- Increases all damage dealt. Increase is equal to .5% of Health points lost.
- Dark Riposte: When enemy legions launch normal attacks on Necrogiant while it is Invulnerable, they take magic skill damage. (This Elite skill is the reason you will fail this raid)
Tip: Dark Riposte (counter attack damage): Players should have the movement arrow indicator prepared and ready to be released at a specific location. As soon as the Necrogiant enters an invulnerable state, release the movement indicator to initiate immediate movement to the designated area. It is crucial to maintain continuous movement, as even a momentary pause will cause your legion to instantly launch a normal attack against the nearest giant.
