Call of Dragons Magma Daemon Guide

Magma Daemon

While the Magma Daemon may appear intimidating at first, it becomes much simpler once you grasp the mechanics. The encounter primarily involves managing stacks of marks, timing rotations towards different Magma bosses and manastones for healing, and avoiding area-of-effect damage. With careful attention to these aspects, the encounter can be effectively tackled.

Tips

  • As a damage player: your main focus when facing a Magma Daemon is to maintain a spread-out position. It’s crucial to stay away from melee range to avoid taking damage up close and to dodge any long-range area-of-effect attacks. Additionally, it’s important to keep track of your mark stacks. Once your stacks reach 4, you should rotate to the next Magma Daemon in a clockwise direction and repeat the process.
  • Mages: It’s worth noting that all players need to remain within the Magma Daemon’s damage perimeter. This is particularly important for mage players, as they have a longer range and should be mindful not to stay too far from the fight.
