How does Stamina Work?

  • Each hero has 100 stamina
  • Stamina regenerates at a rate of 12 per hour (Can be increased with Manastones and Behemoth occupancy buff)
  • A hero loses 10 stamina immediately after entering combat, for the first time, after leaving their city, with an enemy legion.
  • In order for hero(es) to lose further stamina they will re-enter their city by either manually returning or by being sent back to your city in ghost form (after being defeated in battle (legion units fall to 0%) and then re-exit their city and attack a new enemy legion. This means that if you want to exhaust a players stamina, you will have to defeat them in battle a minimum of 10 times (assuming the player doesn’t regenerate stamina quicker)
  • If a defending legion does not command their own legion to retaliate, the defending legion will not lose stamina (this is how whales can station their legions close to the battle and have players defeat themselves by targeting them)

What to do if your alliance is under siege

  • Inform your alliance and don’t panic. If an enemy alliance destroys one, or a few of your alliance towers before your alliance is able to appropriately respond, it is not the end of the world. They can be rebuilt.
  • Don’t send your legions into an out-numbered battle. Emotions are high, how dare the enemy attack YOUR alliance, right? No. Don’t get emotional. Remember you are playing a war game. Unless you are 100% confident that you can take extreme positive trades with enemy legions, DO NOT commit your legions to a fight you may go even in, or lose. Why? Because when your alliance DOES respond, you will have injured all of your units and sent them to the hospital. Now that they are in the hospital, you are unable to battle, and when your alliance retaliates, you will be unable to aid in an offensive push.

How to manage your legions in battle

  • Start by using your mages to attack from range. Look for clusters of enemy units, target the weakest among them and use them to generate rage. When your legion casts a rage skill you will inadvertently hit the stronger enemy legions with area-of-effect hero skills.
  • Free-to-play and low-spenders should station their infantry nearby and use them as a “moving-wall” of sorts. Don’t send your infantry into the enemy as you will likely be wiped without much effort. If you are a moderate to high spender, feel free to full send your infantry and lead the charge for your alliance.
  • Once you have softened the enemy with your mage legions and their unit count becomes low (50% or lower) retreat them back to your city and switch to using your marksman legions now. With the enemy weaker, now you can step up and do massive counter attack damage to the weakened enemy mages that are left (there are usually a lot that are weakened)
  • Finally, once your marksman have been lowered and also need to retreat, the time has finally come to bring out the Cavalry and clean up enemy forces. They should either be significantly diminished or should be retreating – therefore they should not be much of a fight. You are now basically just cleaning up and obtaining free merits upon the enemies defeat.
